ocent until proven guilty will be completely upended. I fear for those of you who one day will have a loved one's career or life ended because of am unsubstantiated accusation. The Duke Lacrosse case and UVA article paved the way for where we are, and it's only going to get worse. The retractions are rarely as visible as the original content.
Companies and communities increasingly would rather just eliminate the problem than examine facts. A disgruntled employee or student with a sexist accusation leads to immediate termination; it's easier to hire or promote someone new than be dragged into the social media atmosphere. I'm already seeing male leaders unwilling to spend one-on-one time with female colleagues. The reverse also will happen. It's only a matter of time before a male or female accuses a female leader of sexual harassment. People talk about sterile and depressing work environments. Unsubstantiated allegations and "hostile workplace" lawsuits helped create those.
This will trickle down to college and then high school, where boys will be reluctant to socialize in any aspect for fear of retaliation. It will be a generational thing, but it will happen. Mothers and fathers, even now, are having this sort of talk with their kids. Teenage boys, especially, have little defense to sexual allegations. Why even risk it? Sad days are ahead.

policies, informal communication and family dialogue.
That’s dramatic and dumb.
It’s embarrassing. It’s a continued downward spiral in politics. Anything more is dramatic.

In a 2015 Washington Post survey, college students were asked
Which of the following do you think is MORE unfair: (An innocent person
getting kicked out of college after being accused of sexual assault) or (A
person who commits sexual assault getting away with it)?
42% of men and 56% of women responded that it was more unfair for the guilty to get away with it.
That is your future jury pool. So yes, it's possible that the worm is turning on this.
ago.
The current jury pool is made up of people that thought Ratt was good music. We're ok.
But Ratt music is still way better than Justin Bieber.

And the thought that the public didn't already form opinions based on little evidence is ridiculous.

Round and round we go...
This shows our political system is fractured into tribes and not one country. The abuse issue is already rampant throughout the country and throughout industries and institutions. The fact that the Executive, legislative and judicial branches are now so petty and small minded (both sides) is a tragic situation that will take a momentous event or a momentous new set of true leaders to change.

They are probably both right.
But, both may be politically effective. If Kavanaugh is not confirmed, or he is confirmed and then impeached, everything will be changed in this country. This will 100% be the norm going forward, for both parties.
