1) There are Trump supporters who defend him at all costs or even if they believe he made a major or even a minor mistake they will always by saying the Democrats are just as bad or worse, deflect, blame the media, etc.
2) there are Trump haters who have serious TDS, that will find all his faults, his stupid remarks and vindictiveness and also deflect and say he was the worse by all the democrats and has destroyed our democracy.
3) There are some that have been on both sides of the isles, and very few, who call it as they see it. What’s amazing is if you don’t stay loyal to the group think, particularly on the Trump side, you are attacked. On the other hand if you criticize Trump the TDS crowds love you for a time.
I would have thought educated people who I assumed posted on this board would be better.
That’s why long term posters are leaving this board. It’s the same tribes on both sides and it’s childless.
You don’t care what’s right and wrong for our country you just want to burn the place down.
courtesy sort of like not allowing them in their circle of friends, if they disagree.
Hug me, please! I need attention!
or don’t post.

No matter the political party. Rs will screw things up too. The Ds don't have a copyright on that. Rs are running scared cowards who hide and peek their little heads out every election cycle, then return to their hole in the ground lobbyist infested dens. Moral of the story. Defend conservative moral values for this nation. Not the politician. You will get let down every single time. See Ted Cruz. See Lindsey Graham. See Kevin McCarthy. See daddy's little girl Cheney.

Here is a fairly straightforward list of priorities for Conservatives in 2022:
1 - America first. Take care of our own taxpayers and citizens before throwing the taxes our citizens have paid towards benefits for illegal immigrants. Don't make trade deals and tax codes that make it far more attractive for domestic companies to outsource manufacturing and supply chain jobs while closing local operations. Don't throw our tax money out of the country in the form of "aid" to countries that hate us and the West in general.
2 - Individual Rights are never, EVER superseded by privileges accorded to any special interest group or demographic. A citizen's rights don't take a back seat to any entitlement program.
3 - Simplified, straightforward tax code that provides enough revenue for needed public service, infrastructure, and social safety nets.
4 - (Speaking of above) Eliminate the stupid waste. No more added spending, added programs, budget creep that never eliminates anything else. Get the deficit and the debt under control.
5 - Personal responsibility.
6 - Public safety. In basic terms for a simpleton like you, the bad folks who present a danger to society aren't catered to or empathized with....they're removed from society. Violent kids are removed from schools, not forced back on teachers to deal with while the remainder of students are distracted any further from their work. Violent felons don't have statues erected to honor them. Rioting crowds of looters aren't endorsed and enabled.
7 - The 2nd Amendment and the right to self-defense. Contrary to the ramblings of the imbecile Wisconsin D.A., you don't have to "take a beating" from a mob. We don't care if that hurts the feelings of their parents who think they had aspirations to be a star.
8 - Immigration Reform - While asylum-seekers need always be considered, the bulk of our immigration process should focus on proper background vetting and should be based on their projected ability to contribute to the country. 75% of immigrants - legal and not - are on government assistance. This keeps ballooning. Can the applicant speak the language, obtain gainful employment, and pass a background check on their criminal history? And for goodness sake, protect and enforce the borders.
9 - Right to Life. If I were a leftist, I'd realize there's some wiggle room here if negotiated properly, as any reasonable person believes in exceptions. But third-trimester stuff.......no way, unless there is imminent danger to the mother's life.
10 - Fund students, not systems. The last 2 years have exposed what teachers' unions are doing to our country's students. Give parents the options they need, and get rid of these special interest groups looking to serve only themselves and their quest for power and social leverage.
I could go on, but you get the idea. This is what we care about.
…. our democracy is compromised, the rule of law is disposable, facts/truth are conveniently discarded, and falsehoods are weaponized.
We cannot have honest and full throated discourse and debate, if any of the above are trashed.
Well said!
Given revent events, I'd add a verifiable voting system (ie ID's required) to prevent cheating though i think that this could fall under #1 that you listed.
Every citizen has the right to vote and will have clear options to do so. And we'll protect the sanctity and value of that vote by preventing fraud with simple steps: Mandatory I.D. check (provided at no cost where needed), an auditable, transparent process and system. Anyone who opposes such basic steps only does so because they want to be able to harvest ballots and commit fraud.

It's the Boomer generation attempting to hold onto to these values. Most Americans are not socially conservative.

could care less about Trump. The only thing I care about are the Midterms and hoping DeSantis runs.
he triggered the Dems to go to the extreme left.
Trump came in to try to get the politicians from stealing it and allowing the workers and talented to benefit from either hard work or intelligent solutions to problems like unemployment for all, North Korea, people not being satisfied or happy with their lives and the Chinese taking over our position as number 1.
