Only ever skied Big Boulder and Vernon Valley. They aren't very nice. Had a few golf weekends at Seven Springs that were excellent. Like being in a time machine.

West skiing would be Jackson Hole. Was really referring to the "old" Mad River Glen when it was a completely ungroomed experts only mountain.
Things have changed since the woman who owned it passed away...but it's still fun for nostalgia with the single chairlift .
6th grade for phones is more due to parent necessity. Kids are entering middle school here and have after school sports and activities where we need to coordinate rides etc.
Cells are necessary in modern life and are how I track her location. Mistletoe is a harassment defense. I love movies in which assholes reform (Groundhog day is my all time fav). AndI learned to Ski as a kid in Utah.

1. I don't have children - when I see children (any age) with cell phones playing around with them I always wish they were reading a book. That said, I'm always impressed with how quick they are with the technology and their abilities to access so much information. What information I don't know but their dexterity is impressive. When I see them doing the selfie poses I think of them as gullible and sad children.
2. Eggnog and rum
3. I'm a sucker for "It's a Wonderful Life.
4. I'm a terrible skier. I'd rather go bowling. That said, a good toboggan run is always enjoyable and so is a good frozen pond to skate on. I used to like playing road hockey on a snowy street. Hours of fun and bruised shins.

It’s a Wonderful Life is a classic, but Love Actually is more fun.
Suicide Six is a small mountain just outside Woodstock, VT. Love it.
Are you Amish or something?
and when ever he can
He likes Whistler the best.
I envy him and his skiing talent at times. We used to ski together but I held him back from pounding the difficult and most challenging slopes so I stopped skiing with him. In just two seasons of skiing he became a slope monster who could do every trick in the book and he was faster than all our well trained ski pals - back in the day. He finally took off to the Alps where he became a top notch skier.
I'll stick with tobogganing. It's safer for everyone.
But I can see why your brother likes it. It's only the best ski resort in the world.

They probably still try to charge you $55 for a freaking lift ticket.
