To family and friends, Flynn remains an unrepentant hero, standing tall against political correctness, liberal folly and media bias.
Flynn’s brother Joseph tweeted in October: “Thank God for Patriots like @GenFlynn who sacrificed everything to ensure @HillaryClinton did not get elected . . . with absolutely NO REGRETS.”
His supporters viewed the special counsel’s recommendation last week that Flynn serve no prison time because of the “substantial assistance” he provided not as a sign that their man had been flipped, but that he had been vindicated.
“The judge should just throw the thing out,” Flynn’s friend Michael Ledeen said. “Give him a medal and be done with it.”

Been on a few panels with him. Ate at Antoine's together once. Nice guy, plenty friendly, and complete screwball. Last time I saw him was October 2016, when he kept saying that there was nothing to worry about with Trump because Flynn was there, and he was a "truly superior person."
Said he was the best intelligence officer over there.
Sad what happened to him.
Some think he was pushed over the edge by Obama. Might also just be the Peter Principle at work.
No love lost there though obviously between those two.

Conditioned over a short period of time where his politics and aim was changed.
How does one change so radically so quickly.
Reminds me of when I hear of late-teen and young adults start to find their views and they're drastically different from their up-bringing's.
