I lived through the Cold War and Vietnam and Nixon. Nothing going on today remotely resembles the anxieties triggered by those situations. Chilac everyone. Breath deep and slow. Your biggest worry should b a traffic accident

Pop country 'artists' deserve painful, public executions and are the source of most problems persistent in the US today.
They rock! :-)
I'm old enough to be a little embarrassed about that...but also old enough to not really care what people think of me when it comes to the music I like.

of China's airports, highways, fancy nigh clubs and excellent service businesses that are much better than those of U.S., this is not threat, this is competition. They achieved all these within 25 years, i.e. one generation. They are the greatest competitor.

Russia is a backward ass, third world nation for corrupt Caucasians. It has a huge military but an economy on par with Italy. At best, a regional threat, albeit in a hugely important region.
Rather than kowtowing to it, we should treat it with the disdain it deserves.
Radical Islam is as Obama noted a long term, ongoing issue, but not an existential threat.
