If we had maintained the Obama Era regulations, we would be in a world of economic hurt. We also would be more pressed to take an active role in the situation. As it is, we will only feel a modest economic impact on a temporary basis only.
We should all be grateful yet again that DJT won the ‘16 election. #MAGA.

Kinda like what’s happening this month. The multiplier associated with housing vastly overshadows anything that occurs in the oil sector. You have no clue about anything that pertains to economics or the financial markets.

Exporter by next year.
Jim mistakenly refers to our net production (which was much less than now) under Obama but fails to mention the Obama regs mandating that much of it be exported rather than used domestically. He also ignores the EPA’s attempts under Obama to shut down fracking which nonetheless accounted for the increased production under Obama.

That’s the reason for the huge increase under Obama he made it possible for entrepreneurs to grow production to make money for America. It’s counterproductive to give Obama credit for higher production he caused with his policies. In fact it worked so well that the reverse happened and we never got to $9 that Chu wanted instead we have cheap gasoline prices and huge exports. So thank you Chu and Obama for your wrong headed policy to reduce fossil fuels that unleashed American oil entrepreneurs.
