I can't figure out why you guys think that the Trump base would not be happy with where we are. He has done, or is doing, everything he actually ran on. It isn't rocket science. 85%+ of Republicans approve of his job because he is doing what they wanted. Regardless if he is a republican, democrat, idiot, vile human being,.... the list goes on; the point is, he is implementing policies and doing what Republicans want. Get over it already. Your parties direction is not where the majority of America want to go. Go tighten your grip on the 28 year old bartender that has never served public office and look like a true idiot supporting whatever that green deal buffoonery was that she outlined yesterday.
like the Green New Deal is music to his ears.
I firmly balee Uncle Joe dusts him if he ran last time and will do it this time if he gets the nomination. A big if, obviously.
decides to run 3rd party. Then behold, Trump is a certainty.
win.
His chances of doing that again aren’t very good.
A third party would impact both candidates about equally.
Trump has been so successful that they really don’t have much to choose from.
Economy? Jobs? Security? Terrorism? War? Wages? All better under Trump.
Thus, the Dems have been focusing only on “get Trump”.
In the meantime, this idiot Cortez comes along with a message of communism and a large base of young, foolish, and ill-informed voters ( ironically, a situation that the Left itself encouraged by manipulation of the media and school curriculum), and she puts out an actual plan - horrifically stupid and untenable, but the only plan.
Now, the Left has its starting point as it seeks to define it’s planks for the ‘20 election.
There are a lot of hard lefties on this very board who will vote 3rd Party in the ‘20 election unless their hatred of Trump personally exceeds there desire to continue to live free in the US (they have already let their hatred of Trump outweigh what is best for the country in trying to get him unseated with lies and duplicity, but now they will have to let it exceed their own personal interests, and I don’t think libs will go that far).

Rather than admit why so many smart republicans are anti-Trump, just say they are neocons mad about the lack of wars.
Makes it easy.
