Not that it’s illegal to vote early when and where it’s permitted it’s just a no no for you.
Are there any limits?
A week? Two? Three?
And what about late voting?
That’s very trendy in Dem dominated districts
The U.S. Supreme Court has upheld two Arizona laws restricting voting in the state. Political observers see the ruling as a major blow against the landmark Voting Rights Act. KNAU’s Ryan Heinsius reports.
The court ruled Arizona’s ban on collecting early ballots, also known as ballot harvesting, doesn’t violate the 1965 federal law. Justices also let stand the state’s refusal to count ballots cast in the wrong precinct.
A federal appeals court previously shot down both provisions saying they disproportionately impact Black, Latino and Native American voters. But the conservative Supreme Court majority said concerns about election integrity justified Arizona’s laws.
Voting rights advocates say the ruling will make it harder to challenge discriminatory laws in court and urge Congress to pass the For the People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich, who defended the state laws, says they protect the right to vote and election accuracy.
Several Republican-controlled legislatures have passed laws aimed at limiting early voting and tightening voter ID restrictions since the 2020 election.

It's not the individual voter being not allowed it's whole groups of voters being denied across the country - Change a law making it difficult if not
impossible to vote if you're a student - e.g., voting aged college/university students who are
out of their voting precinct for years because they're at school - they're often denied access

register to vote or just send them out to everyone 18 and older?
You have the choice to say no or yes. If you choose to the ballot gets mailed to your place of residence and you send it in. It has a digital foot print from mail out to counted.

Here is from Oregon, which had voted by mail for decades.

Has always been a blue state and will never be anything but a blue state. People need not even vote here.
had you read it, you'd have found that in the formative years BOTH Republicans and Democrats were leery of the process...until each of the parties got to know it and now fully support it.
Good grief...you live there and work in a law firm...how do you not know the background of Mail-In voting in Oregon?

it off instead of mailing it in.
and heroine? Portland , with Ted Wheeler, who allowed riots in his city for over 100 days. That state is half ass backwards with the two things I just mentioned.
no fraud problems that ever affected an election in all that time...read Chris' link to get the fully story.
As for Oregon's progressive efforts on drugs...first, it's hard to get any program going during the COVID pandemic, but it's true that all the treatment elements were not planned and in place before the de-criminalization legislation...nonetheless, it's an approach that has worked elsewhere...and we already have tons of evidence that simply arresting and incarcerating people isn't the way to go.
The 'Status Quo' needs to change...don't be afraid of change...and don't be afraid of a little hard work in making that change.

When more people vote, Democrats benefit.
Republican policies try to restrict numbers of voters - they talk about fraud.
Democratic policies try to maximize the number of voters - they talk about democracy.
If it were the other way - if more voting helped the GOP - the positions would be reversed.

You can’t spin nonID voting as simply more voting. You cannot avoid it’s obvious fraudulent nature and susceptibility. Nobody but your own cadre believes it for a minute. I doubt that you really believe it deep down, but then again, your good at rationalizing what you are told.

that it is unbelievable that anyone could think that the Dems are for furthering the pandemic practices.
PreCOVID, you could get nowhere in the battle ground states where it mattered on this issue, but COVID allowed your governors in BG states (who all still had R controlled legislatures) to put nonID voting by edict….supposedly temporary edict afforded them by the Health Dept. Now you want to make it permanent as you do multiple pandemic practices that you have found useful to your cause. Liberalism Rule #3 - The ends justify the means because you think you know better.
The nonID voting MUST also be taken in context with the Dem party’s ballot harvesting practices as well as their registration practices of illegals crossing the border.
Your immigration policy, ballot harvesting, immunity policies, and nonID voting are all very obviously linked, and the strong majority of reasonable and intelligent people in this country know it.
I pray that Manchin can hold you guys off.
universal mail in ballots.
….you probably assume that there is some fact about Absentee Ballots that isn’t the same or your side would have said so……..well there is…….Universal Ballots already meets every requirement that Dems claim to want EXCEPT that valid ID must be provided.
You actually are not in agreement with the Dems on this per your post.
We agree, and it is also why you favor it.

So then should we eliminate the IRS until such evidence exists?
You’ve got to be smarter than this, Jim. We need you to be so that you can see through your programming.
There is nothing remotely the same in someone tax cheating or one who is voting.
