‘Bullsh*t and gaslighting’: Here is why Trump’s rabid fans buy into his lies
...There’s a crucial lesson here: It’s important to not focus exclusively on the specific lies that Trump is telling in the moment, without also taking note of the broader lies he’s telling about himself in how he’s presenting himself. The fact that Trump continues to lie repeatedly about opposing the Iraq War, despite repeated debunking, exemplifies his trait of being a pathological liar. But the fact that he’s completely reversed his positioning speaks to his more fundamental nature as a bullshitter...

and tell me which politician does not lie?
That is to say, a majority of Americans vote against a candidate more than they vote for a candidate.
But, political hacks who write red meat articles think everyone on the other side is 100% fanatical about the candidate for whom they voted.

As for his core supporters, they will look at how he is implementing his agenda to the letter. That is the honesty they care about, rather than all of the “noise”.
Where do you guys get this stuff? Breitbart?
ever wonder why Dems would support wall building under Obama, but not now, it’s because it is the last chance they have to get him to break a high profile promise. But given the incredible rehab that Trump has done for our economy and foreign policy, we are giving him credit for effort. And he isn’t done trying.
We don’t care if you can dig something up on the guy from years ago. We all know he wasn’t very nice at times. But he is a great president now, and your CNN/Kos/MSNBC/Huffpo source’s arent telling you because they don’t want you to know.

It very simple to prove that he has done more to damage those who adore him the most. But you have to focus on policy which takes time and effort. And I'm not talking about the TV performance that simple people believe is policy. I don't care about what people say, I care about what they do.

Can't read the article, because I won't disable my ad blocker for that site. I don't see a need for me to give the Left any money.
It doesn't add much to the conversation - just some red meat to those of us that have been shaking their heads for two years. NDavenue's post couldn't be better anecdotal support for the article if it tried, incidentally.
Still, I don't see it persuading anyone that supports the president. The only thing that might resonate with a few of you is the fact that we actually have articles analyzing the various types of lies our President tells. The lies are so pervasive and accepted that we are down to categorizing them.

What's interesting, if I wanted to fuel their hatred of the Left with "real" policy information I could certainly do a better job than any of them. What's amusing about these clowns is they actually hate their adversaries for the wrong reasons. That's what happens when you're unable to distinguish political propaganda from actual policy.
BTW, your insights are completely lost on them.
You can see the almost textbook behavior of some. Ned ain't one of them.

He’s invented the absurd internet persona of a Communist Hedge Fund manager who will fly around the country (presumably in his private jet) to punch out people he has internet arguments with.
I, for one, applaud his comedic genius.

Mad research skillz.
He also “doesn’t suffer fools” easily (that probably could go without him saying since we know that he has to live with himself all day).
He is the Jason Freaking Statham of this board!
Those were his two signature accomplishments. What lies has Trump told on the same level? As a follow-up, is it simply your opinion that he lied or that it's an actual lie?
And it's good to see that Mexico is paying for the wall. Hourly wage works have lost the right to enjoin their claims when an employer cheats them out of wages and this is a big problem in this country. That should play out real well for the average Drumph voter.

He arguably has the greatest team of tax fraud and money laundering experts ever assembled. These are a team of people who walked away from multi million dollar annual incomes to work with Mueller. You don't assemble people with this level of expertise for shits and giggles. Google "Mueller's team" plus "David Cay Johnston." Or maybe you shouldn't because it will expose your buffoonery.
