This study might explain a bit of it, but it goes well beyond expressing political views. I'm talking about when you're living in apartment and you have two neighbors on either side. The dumb neighbor invariably clanks his pans and dishes and plays his crap music loud while your smarter neighbor is quieter in all aspects. Or think about dumb guys and their need to make their cars and trucks and motorcycles louder. Or when you're at the movie theater and you're subjected to dummies talking loud. Or Philly fans versus the rest of humanity? Why is that? Why is there some correlation between higher intelligence and less clamorous behavior?

Their bubble of awareness is smaller.
The smaller the bubble, the less consideration of others come into play, because they are less aware of others. When it is pointed out that others are there, they say, "Oh."
It's why kids can be loud at church, or people can eat boogers in public...even though others can see and hear them, and they should be embarrassed, dumb people or young people or drunk people are unaware of others around them. Their bubble of awareness barely encompasses themselves, and it definitely excludes most others.
Civility is also a factor, of course. But one indicator of increased intelligence is a larger bubble of awareness.
Just my theory.
Concentrate to throw a strike and gave up.
Most awesome thing I’ve seen in sports.
Only in Philly.
By the way, they also managed to lose the game in the 9th.

Hosing our food down with glyphosate likely has consequences we don't yet fully understand. I suspect that the growing "gluten intolerance" epidemic is more likely a glyphosate intolerance epidemic.
Seattle is loud.
Philly is dangerous.
Your point is well taken.
