Notwithstanding overt obstruction by Republicans, President Obama was able to pass landmark legislation.
Some want the ACA improved. Some want to go bigger and bolder.
Repeal ‘n Replace was not a policy, just foughazzi campaign rhetoric.
Yet, healthcare and its costs remain a central issue. The Democrats are proposing options. They are not running away from it.
I was just agreeing with DRO that Obamacare didn't fix anything. That is part of my broader, ongoing point that giant national government programs like this usually cause more problems than they fix, which leads to the Dems proposing even more solutions which will have more problems which they need to fix later with even more national programs...and so we march the country into the abyss of large government, slowly destroying freedom one bite at a time, and slowly bankrupting the country that is supposed to provide all these great programs...it is national suicide. Your post reinforces my point, since you say we need more programs to fix problems caused by national programs.
Of course, once we go down this path, senior citizens will be as expendable as babies at nine months. Now let's converse.

Since I almost never read your drive-by links, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say its a NYT or Washington Post column, either telling why Trump is doing catastrophic damage to the US, or extolling one of the Dem candidates' looney tunes campaign ideas.

drug price, practice of defensive medicine, tendency to use more expensive treatments...
In a healthy democracy (no Trump, no Mitch McConnell), grown ups discuss how to best address fixes to day-to-day issues that American families need addressed.
Reasonable minds can differ. There need not be yelling or fear mongering.
Get the facts. Discuss options. Discuss costs. Discuss equities.
How does that sound?

Getting tired of all of the winning yet?
