And I am not casting aspersions on the public service of Robert Mueller who has, understandably, “lost a step” as clearly demonstrated today.
The question is simply this: as a Democrat, are you happy that Nadler and Schiff called the Judiciary and Intel Committee hearings with Mueller today?
The nation had to hear the primary findings and they were terrible for Orange.
I don't think I've ever been happy with much Congress has done. I'm sure whatever they did today was just as useful as whatever it is they postponed so that they could do this today.
A sitting President cannot be indicted, so what's the point? There's also no real appetite for impeachment, so I'm not sure what the dream ending to these hearings would be exactly.
It's not like he has the intellectual capital or experience to run this show. Dems are not in good hands here.

....it’s always been about politics from the beginning.
The guy has basically obstructed justice, it is sort of their duty in their oversight role to investigate.
Do you believe that his tweets and statements are an act of obstruction? And before you state what we all know are the supposed facts, if Trump asked others to obstruct and they didn’t and he withdrew, is that obstruction? Isn’t action more damning that words? Did Mueller finish his investigation? He himself said he wasn’t hampered. So were is the obstruction besides Trump’s well known big mouth.
The report indicates that Mueller could not indict a sitting president for obstruction of justice, but that the elements were there. You may disagree with that conclusion, but under those circumstances I believe Congress was obligated to run out the ground ball.

I don't really know how the IG report will effect whether Congress should have held this hearing, but we'll see.
