I don't understand how anyone could think this is a victory for justice. But, I can see how you would think it was a political victory, and therefore worthy of poking a stick at your political enemy. Scoreboard!
Seems likely that the swamp will never be drained. The swamp has a life of its own. Prosecutions are for power, not for justice.
Too bad.

For many reasons Barr was not going to be able to prove mishandling of classified materials beyond a reasonable doubt. So, he did not put the country through an unsuccessful trial. Kudos to him and his bout of discretion (which we did not see enough from the other side).
It has taken so long, Ned. Hurts. But prosecutions are coming, and for better reasons--abuse of the FISA process.
This has been under-reported given all of the other events, but a case is being built!
I talked about the transcript of PapaD meeting Halper in a bar. It has been obtained by Justice, and he apparently stated:
"But Bartiromo says Papadopoulos responded to Halper by saying 'that's crazy,' 'that would be treason,' 'people get hanged for stuff,' and 'I would never do something like that.'"
Do you think this exculpatory material made it into the FISA app signed by Comey?
I know you don't want to hear the word patience, but have patience.

Maybe they both were meritless from the beginning.
