As Jane Mayer documents in her indispensable 2016 book Dark Money, the father of the Koch brothers, Fred Koch, built the family fortune in the 1930s by helping build oil refineries,
briefly for Stalin’s USSR and over the better part of a decade in Hitler’s Germany. Koch’s work for Germany played a major role in allowing the Nazi regime to achieve its goal of economic autarky,
freeing it from dependence on foreign oil and making possible Hitler’s military adventurism.

A fierce anti-communist, Fred Koch seems to have regretted his quondam alliance with the Bolsheviks. He was more favorably disposed to the

Italy, and Japan, simply because they are all working and working hard,” he wrote to a friend in 1938. Nazi Germany, Fred Koch felt, offered a salutary alternative
to the “feeding at the public trough” of the New Deal. These ideas might explain why the wealthy oil executive hired a Nazi governess to raise his sons.

course, any rich person is evil according to the author. Bill Gates and the Gates Foundation...pure evil, I tell you. And, I certainly hope you never buy or ride in a Mercedes, Audi or BMW, because they all profited from working with the Nazi's and more so from jewish labor at concentration camps. IBM, GM and Ford also profited. But, hey, just focus on the one person you don't like.

can’t be talked about with the self righteous and The holier than thou crowd here.
It’s offensive without reason. And seeing how these two brothers influenced much in this country and little of it positive where it is this country suffers for their personal gain.
Yet the likes of this board now including you stick your heads in the sand and tell me to chill.

But you’ll all swear the four female freshman in congress are over exposed and shouted down here in this board as anti American, haters of Jews and so on. Senator Warren makes a claim which your side dislikes and it’s full go with attacks.
Yet these two pricks are a horror show as Americans so they’re valued because they make oodles of cash in a business they inherited. When you hear some not so savory details of their history - it’s some one is obviously a hater
