I thought that too. And what's up with the Jamie character?
First he comes off as one of two sane family members then, he is some type of weakling mamas boy, then crazy killer.
They got rid of the cowgirl stripper from the bunkhouse with no reason, just suddenly gone - she seemed like an interesting
character and that love affair in the wings with the meth-head turned bronco-buster, interesting stuff now poof, gone.
Very disjointed.
Besides what you mentioned, which I agree with:
1. Making Rip a son made sense but then where the fuck did that house come from? And then they're sending him in as a kamikaze? Because they can't risk their real son? Hell, sending in Jamie would have been a better plot.
2. The Peck brothers going down so easy, especially after the one was warned and here he is sitting on the toilet?
3. This is in general, did I miss something or why is Beth such a bitch to Jamie?
Because Jamie is a pussy. Same character as Kendal on Succession
