He looks up to them. Coddling? Trump doesn’t coddle unless it’s pornstar he’s paying for.

don't like Iran deal, Iran war is possible if necessary.
They shared same stand on something and disagreed on something else. It's clear to us from the very beginning.

the coffin for the Iran war now. Trump needed somebody who support withdrawal of Iran deal then. Trump needs somebody who support Iran talk now. It's a quality of a leader to know when and how to use his resources.

Just guessing that you support Obama's approach. Or maybe give them nuclear reactors like Clinton did. Let me know if I'm wrong.
First, I wasn't mocking the attempt. What I was mocking was the spiking of the football that it was done, by both Trump and his worshippers. IIRC, he even suggested he should win the Nobel Prize.
Second, your question is a little complicated. I suppose all presidents "try" in one form or another. Is the question whether I am happy with his particular strategy? I don't know. He backed down on sanctions and made Kim a legitimate world leader, seemingly to reduce the tensions that Trump himself ramped up. But it's hard for me to predict how things would have turn out otherwise, or what the future will actually hold. That said, I am generally in favor communication, so I think it was probably good that he did that. I suspect that many knowledgable about these things would disagree, and not just on a "partisan" basis - There is a reason no president met with Kim before, Republican or Democrat.
First...fair enough.
Second...do you think "strategic patience" is "trying?" Regarding sanctions, I don't see how he backed down. Aren't sanctions on N.Korea the worst ever? I agree it is hard to predict. I certainly don't have all the answers. I just figure trying something different may be a good idea when what we were trying wasn't working. No guarantee that the new strategy would work either, of course. I agree that you have to pick the time to talk. Trump may have been a good time. His election was a fractal event in POTUS history, and if it wasn't going to happen with him, it likely would not have happened successfully. Usually the most aggressive leader is the best to make an overture. A friendly leader making an overture is usually taken advantage of.

Yet another head-scratching personnel call by Trump to hire him.
His firing is probably the one thing most on here agree on...and yet many of us are still trying to fight about it or makes points about it. Ahh, politics.
4 NSA’s in 3 years? Bolton should never have been hired. The chaos administration continues.
Do you think anyone of these people like Trump. We both hate the neocons they are on both sides. We should celebrate Bolton’s firing. Should have never been hired. So he’s gone that’s a good thing. Yeah it’s Trump’s fault but everything is, right.
Like everything else about him that was a complete fraud.
Thank God Bolton is gone. But Trump hired him. And chances are he is going to hire someone only slightly less odious. We shall see.

Which he does routinely. Yesterday it was over Bahamian refugees.
And then he blames the media and his followers lick it up.
Who wants more involvement in the Middle East besides the Bush crowd that wants to kill everyone and the Obama crowd because he wants to nation build. Say what you want about Trump he wants neither.

And since those meetings are more rare these days, they barely talked at all.
This is still a stunner to me. And it is very bad news for the bomb-Iran crowd....and good news for the country.
Next up? Who would want that job? DonJu?
