Mrs Tufnel and I went out to a favorite watering hole last night. Still a lot of people, but definitely less that one would expect on a Friday night. Just less people out in general, but places were still active. Overall, less cars on the road.
And the paper towel / toilet paper section in our local grocery is bare, which is mind-boggling to me.
Here in South Carolina and Savannah area, restaurants are packed, people are shopping, golf courses are full. My kids still have school next week. And in my own conversations and in hearing others', the vast majority opinion condemns the complete "overreaction" to this.

It is very important to shut this fucking virus down. Don't be an ass and ignore the advice. Celebrate St Patrick's day at home with The Quiet Man.

was out of paper, meat, milk, yogurt, bread, etc.
Went to a store almost across the street that had nearly everything except hand sanitizer. People are strange.
(Happened here during Sandy too. Same store was ravaged and out of almost everything. Drove to a store two miles away that had everything including bags of ice. Very odd.)
of paper products. Word Is St. Paddys day will be lighter turnout, but still ago. I live smack in the middle of fly over country, fwiw
Been mixed here. We went out to my daughters college the other day and made it in record time. But her coming home last night was a long time. We had the mass hysteria at Sams but the sushi place we go to was half full.
