1) He told the FBI that he did not ask Russia's Ambassador to the U.S. to refrain from escalating the situation in response to sanctions that the U.S. had imposed against Russia the month prior.
So, he did actually ask them to refrain from escalating the situation since Obama was leaving and Trump was coming in. How exactly is this such a big deal?
2) He told the FBI that he did not remember a follow-up conversation in which the Russian Ambassador stated that Russia had chosen to moderate its response to those sanctions as a result of his earlier request.
So, he did remember that he had a follow-up conversation regarding his initial request to not escalate the situation.
The incoming administration wanted the deescalate the situation before they took the official reigns. How did the FBI know he lied... because the used a false narrative to wiretap and overheard the actual conversation.
Now, I ask, which is the worse offense?

President Trump -- who fired Flynn "because he lied to the Vice President and the FBI"
Vice President Pence -- who acknowledged the lies and said, "the President made the right decision [to fire] him."
Acting Attorney General Sally Yates
DOJ National Security Division Chief Mary McCord
Federal prosecutors assigned to Special Counsel (see attached plea documents)
Judge Rudy Contreras who accepted the guilty plea. A judge cannot accept a plea without a factual basis.
Judge Emmet Sullivan who took the same plea in DEC 2018. Judge Sullivan noted the lies were material in a separate written order.
Michael Flynn -- who declared "under penalty of perjury that it is true and correct." See attached plea documents.

Mueller team is dirty as Gestapo, pressure Flynn to a plea deal by admitting he gave false statement.

You are incredibly dull and boring.
There is an Epoch Times article or right wing twatter post that requires your attention.
Why did he stonewall and lie to the FBI if he had done nothing wrong? Why did he lie to Pence?
He is a piece of shit. Perfect for the Trump team.
But all 19 people who refused to confess were found guilty and executed.
Why would they lie?
Pre-Mueller investigation, FBI and Comey think Fly didn't lie.

The thing changed only after Mueller took over the case which resulted in a plea bargain because they threaten to charge his son.
From now on, every time you post, please give a link to support your claim, please!

of his recollection of what the initial two agents may have said. They also said again according to the GOP report what he said was inconsistent with their understanding of what was actually said in the conversation. All if this again is from a GOP written report. It was clear by the time Flynn was fired that both the FBI and Trump knew he had lied because he was FIRED for that stated reason.

Why would the prez and the VP say he was fired for lying to the FBI, if the FBI felt that not to be true?
believe [Flynn was] lying".
You are also reading from a partisan authored report.
and McCabe/Comeys tesmonies. He was fired for not telling Pence abut the phone call and other issues. His lying to FBI plea was reached near the end of 2017. That's 10 months after he got fired.
I’m done you on this. You can’t understand plain English.
Flynn had lied when they clearly had direct evidence that he had.

Obviously everyone knows no crime from Flynn's phone call with Russian ambassador.
world.
that he hadn’t had those conversations. Pence went on the Sunday shows denying that Flynn and Kisiliak had done so based on what Flynn told him. The Russians knew that both Flynn, and by extension, Pence were lying and had that info to blackmail Flynn as DNI if they wanted to use it. This is why Orange said Flynn was fired for lying BOTH to the FBI and to Pence. This is also why the lie was material to an ongoing counter intelligence operation which (contrary to Cole) hadn’t been closed when Flynn and the Russian talked.
In addition Flynn had no right to give the Russians advice on how to respond to the sanctions which had to include at least a tacit suggestion that they would be revisited and dealt with more favorably when Orange took office. The Russians of course took his advice which Orange then praised.
with Mueller team, not from the fact of phone call content.
This was well before the indictment, let alone plea deal.
it is another dirty trick played by Obama admin. They leaked transcript of Flynn phone call with Russian to media (CBS) and even unmasked Flynn name before they interviewed Pence. They knew the whole phone content and designed a trap for Pence by asking Russian contact question. I think Flynn made a careless mistake to Pence, but not intentionally lie to Pence because there is really no purpose to lie to his VP.

How does one unintentionally lie about whether they had talked or didn’t talk to Kisliak about sanctions? If it was unintentional, why was he fired..........for lying to the FBI and Pence?

to both the FBI and Pence.
People act like incoming Flynn talking to the Russian ambassador was worse than Obama telling Medvedev to tell Putin that Obama would be more “flexible” after Obama’s re-election. It wasn’t.
counterintelligence investigation as he told the same lie to Pence.
Obama as prez can say whatever he wants. So can, unfortunately, the current occupant who has given classified info to them. Flynn was neither prez nor did he have any authority to say that as a private citizen.
Or if Obama did?
You also didn't address that the investigation was based on false pretenses.
and repeated the lie after taking office.
ground to prosecute it, even under Logan Act. "Don't escalate" sounds better than "More flexibility after election" which is still legally ok in diplomacy. They all know it.
before he leaves office next year, that will be perfectly fine?

You think sending that message along to China by DNI to be Rice is okay when Orange is still prez?
