The explanation was that the HDChloro study by Ford foundation in Detroit was an observance study only to see if it warranted further review
and level 1 controlled studies. The Ford study showed possible benefits but could be confused with steroid use and other factors.
So several studies were conducted with deep research and they all found the same problems - not beneficial, for some dangerous and possibly lethal.
