Some states might be. Georgia is not. Despite the implication in the tweet, Lewis is not receiving special treatment in that regard.
I would also argue that funerals are more essential than rallies. I won't be attending any indoor rallies for any candidates. However, if a loved one of mine dies, I will risk Covid to honor their passing.
Telling people how to mourn is just as bad as others laughing about a death (and I think that was pretty much only 64).

Funerals are tough b/c mourning our deceased loved ones and finding some closure is so vital for our mental health.
Restaurants, bars, movies, concerts and giant indoor political rallies not so much.
Everything must be politicized. Everything.
And this is all about symbolism.
Would you care to post your CV below. LMAO, Good Times.
I never judge how someone mourns a loss.
Ask Herman Cain how symbolism worked out for him in Tulsa.

reporting is affected by it.
You crassly exploit Herman Caine’s death while hypocritically ignoring your own politicians actions.
None of these people are actually worried about a virus. Hey just want to beat Trump.
And you wonder why I challenge your tale you’re in the health care field.
Only a moron would say the dumbass things you say about the virus along with your regurgitating of Trumpisms on same issue.
had to follow social distancing rules in church. No Choir was allowed indoors. Not sure why he and his family received special treatment
to have so many in the church but if anyone deserves a crowd (clearly following procedures of the time) in this country, John Lewis does.
Those who have an issue with this scene are the problem not the mourners. Do yourself a favor, get a perspective.
How about you compare this photo to those at Tulsa rally and remember, Governors of the states are the gate keepers to these events
and they would need permission from the State in order to have an event like this.
