Go on a diet because if your BMI is over 35 you're likely to die from COVID no matter your age. Stop putting the cupcakes in your mouth, eat meat, ditch the carbs, supplement with zinc, Vit. D, magnesium, and Vit K. If you do that, you will be far more effective at preventing the spread and negative effects of the virus (death) than wearing a fucking mask. Stop blaming other people for your own problems.

The image is the percentage of obese people by state (source CDC). All the dark red states will go for Trump.

Then to develop a vaccine.
That said, maybe this is what finally forces us to take the national obesity crisis seriously.
Personally, I feel that refined sugar and high fructose corn syrup should be regulated like tobacco. Can't be purchased by people under 18 and all sugary products should have significant warning labels about obesity and diabetes. Not to mention no advertising for candy, donuts, etc. Smoking was also a national health crisis that has been significantly reduced due to tough regulation.
Unfortunately, pretty much everyone on the right views regulation of sugar as gov't overreach.
allow more healthy fats and less carbs. That would be huge inandofitself.
That would help with school lunches, but that' really it.
We have a successful blueprint on how to tackle this. It worked with tobacco, it can work with sugar.

Should be the exact opposite. You should be eating healthy amounts of grass fed meat, fish, cheese, and eggs, and low amounts of carbs. Throw in leafy green vegetables.
