The warning is simultaneously oblique and crystal clear.
Totally normal. I am so silly - emotive - in warning about this over and over. I'm such a pussy in my Ivory Tower.

Not sure what’s a bigger surprise, this Oped or you acting like a typical drama queen.
Either all these people are lying weasels, or Trump is unfit for office:
Dan Coats (DNI)
Rex Tillerson (SecState)
HR McMaster (NSA)
John Bolton (NSA)
John Kelly (DHS Sec; COS)
Jim Mattis (SecDef)
Keep sucking down the kool aid.
.......Trump has done a poor job of hiring people. It has been a common theme. The problem is that he hires from within the DC swamp. perhaps in this case, he had no choice. But it is time to branch out and get away from these nonelected liffers who thin it is their right to run the country and be unnaccountable to the voters whom they openly disdain.
If he doesn't do that, we can expect more coup attempts like happened with Obama's DOJ.
I’m not a Kool aid guy but I do like Snapple. Does that count, queenie?

and doesn't vote for whatever reason available.
If we cared enough about the vote we would be involved more from an early age - Civics in schools and at home has disappeared and the
argument for and the emphasis on voting as their great right has not been made or made well.
Sure, there are many things that can be done to promote fair elections but the desire to vote has to be stronger than the disinformation
and misinformation campaigns by the parties. We as a country seem not to be immune from false rhetoric.
Burn a building down, blame the guy who calls the police.
Try to take down an elected president with fabrications, then blame him as the threat to democracy.
Maybe that is good politics? Don't know. Guess we will all find out. Either way, it is disingenuous.
...and we all know ho things have gone in the Middle East since then.
Help us understand what fabrications have been made about this POTUS, Trump.
The thing is, there doesn't need to be fabrications about Trump - He's his own wrecking ball. He gives us his stories daily
His Town Hall is a perfect example of his stupidity, lies and misinformation.
We could talk about his promoting UV lamps as a virus killer or his idea of injecting a disinfectant - These aren't made up stories
Bob Woodward's taping of Trump.. The thing is, it happens everyday for Trump. NO Need for Fabrications.
And yet, you support him -
I know, I know - it's all about abortion.
I've often said there are plenty of things regarding which Trump can be legitimately criticized, but the Left seems to think they need to make up conspiracy theories. Kind of weird.
I know, I know, the Steele Dossier. Funny how most of it has been backed up.
But do go ahead and name several of those fabricated stories.
You could google every 48 hour rule posting of mine over the past few years if you want others. That would get you started.
See that? You are lying once again.
What planet do you live on? That is Alex-Jones-level nonsense.
I haven't read the article yet, so I don't know if Coats is doing that or not.

The article states we must take every effort to preserve the integrity of the election which would mean it would go against everything the dems want:
1. Voter ID require
2. No vote by mail (note that Absentee voting is great) vote by mail is not
There you go - it would seem that Dan Coats would be in favor of both of these things. and in favor of avoiding statements like HRC telling Biden not to concede on election, or Bloombergs surrogates telling saying that the election wont be decided on election night - they are deliberately trying to sew discontent and paint the scenario where the only acceptable outcome is if biden wins.
The threat to the democracy is a political party that has spent the past three and a half years not accepting the outcome of the 2016 election.
