explain it?
I live in this state and haven't heard one story of school, teacher, curriculum teaching sex or gender Ed to 3rd graders or lower.

Stick to the basics.
told the entire girls class about fellatio on a boy. When the girls expressed discuss she told them to try it you might like it. She was eight years old at a Miami grade school in the 70’s. I’m just happy my wife took her advice.
with that kind of woke if that is what it is. I think it was just free sex in the 60's, free sex in the 70's, wear rubbers or you might get Aids in the 80's.

Clinton had this about right: Don's ask don't tell.
The problem is that those who suffer from internal conflicts and anxieties are desperately seeking external affirmation that they are OK.
They will never be appeased because their problems are internal not external.

Apparently you have not seen all the videos of gay teachers being upset they cant discuss their private lives with students. Do you really think there would be so much uproar if they weren't doing it anyway?? Also, there is more to the bill than just the point you and the media are so outraged about. This isn't just preemptive. Broward County has guidelines that give the schools the ability to transition a student without the parents knowledge. If you people dont see a problem with this I'm not sure what to say anymore besides the collapse of every society is from sexual perversion. Congrats

Sometimes even sources they trust. See the NYT and Hunter Biden story. Both flat deny it and or twist themselves into knots explaining it away.
Florida is getting ahead of this bullshit. Q (and Ty and Jim and Chris) are lying about this bill.

...and paddle boarding. And being "Best Person" at Trinity and Allysin's non-denominational nonbinary non confirming life partner bonding ceremony complete with matching tattoos and clitoris piercing.
I know prohibiting such makes some posters want to scream out of his vagina, but it's inappropriate and unnecessary. The intent of which it to normalize behaviors parents teach against at home, with no transparency or input. And should you raise an objection you're a homophobe and bigot.
Call it what it is....child grooming.

Then again, based on your stances on almost every issue, I am guessing you are not too much of a Bible believer. I would speculate that in well over 80% of all confused children cases regarding gender identity, there is a lack of a traditional nuclear family present. Children up through young adulthood desire and need a core nuclear family that teach and nurture them through struggles.
Exactly post Mac.

I have no problem with preemptively stopping such education for K-3.

you then you're not a rational person.

Yeah, that's not crazy either.
I really don't have strong opinions on this law, maybe it is pointless, but at least it's well-meaning and at worst it does no harm. What's the controversy?
But I do strongly believe that sex and gender ed should not be taught to K-3. Maybe you want to take a stab at the question I asked of JB the other day: "Why are you so fired up over a law that you say is pointless?"
If it was just "it's a solution in search of a problem", people would laugh it off and move on. Instead there are people here (like you) creating multiple threads on it and apparently protests going on over it, I don't get it. Maybe you can explain.
