Though it's a little curious you don't have to sign a waiver or anything.
For those who haven't been, they bring you a rock (flat slate type rock) that is heated to 700 degrees and raw meat that you cook yourself on the rock. It's a unique concept that is implemented really well in my one experience.

It was excellent. Still there if anyone goes.

...of it.
I am up by Grand Rapids a few times a year so could try it.
I wouldn't normally be into such a gimmick either.

I was skeptical going in, it was an enjoyable experience and I would definitely go back.
Years ago there was a place in NYC on 65th street and Bway called The Saloon - across the street from Lincoln Center. They had a very hot plate with raw
beef (carpaccio) and by the time it reached the table it was perfectly cooked. Ordered it all the time. I imagine this is a similar thought in cooking.
Again, I was surprised how much I liked the entire experience. And the quality of the meat and sides and again, the experience, it was all really great.
...tried.
You pick out your steak but have to stand up and grill it yourself.
