Posting the word peace doesn’t mean that is what you want. Putin wants the Ukrainians to give up their government and country to Russia in order to keep the peace - that isn’t peace - it’s war.

Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are all NATO members, why did Russia not attack them before they joined?

In the Baltic's there are many Russians living there, they speak Russian in all three of the countries very similar to Ukraine.
So why then, Ukraine?

then, thanks to so-called US economic experts whose "shock" reform ruined Russia economy in 1990s. For 2nd round NATO expansion to baltic states, Russia was still weak, in the recovery under Putin from disaster of 1990s economy. For the 2008 announced expansion of Ukraine and Georgia, Russia immediately took action, starting the Georgia war therefore stopped Georgia from joining NATO.
Now, UK even want NATO to be global NATO to defend Taiwan. WTF.

Have been bookkeeping all $ we gave to Ukraine sofar snce the war started on 2/24. Here is the list:
2/25: $350m
3/12: $550m
3/16: $800m
4/1: $1.65b
4/12: $750m
4/21: $1.3b
4/28: $33b, upon Congress approval
Our gov't keeps doing this. Though I don't think it's wrong or wrongheaded in this case,
it's that those numbers are huge and how do we pay for that and keep our own country balanced and financially stable?
Not finding the backing to support Ukraine would be far worse I'm sure, but those numbers are staggering especially in light
of all the programs we're paying for from the pandemic.

botched it. Biden's admin couldn't meet Trump's timetable, and he was told by his advisors that they weren't ready for an End of August pull out at the beginning of July. But Brandon lied flatly to the public when asked about those concerns, and he tried to keep up with Trump's timetable....and he failed spectacularly.
Now, I do agree that he likely would have failed at any of his timetables. Brandon and his admin are utterly incompetent - that is now clear. But still....what a complete clusterfuck. He could have easily changed the timetable as his advisors recommended. It might have been less bad.
