Catholic. Please your pro abortion proponents argue that issue. But your faith should tell you different.

must read it...the key phrase you need to comprehend is "Judicial Prudence"...and his follow-up statement..."Prudential judgment is not a secondary or deficient mode of discernment in the Christian conscience. It is the PRIMARY mode." (emphasis mine).

IMO, you need to read more of what I've provided...actually, there's more to come...and try to understand what he's saying. Please reference specific parts of his paper so that we can use them as 'touchstones' to keep our discussion focused. I'd especially recommend the part where he identifies multiple "intrinsic evils", but counsels that no "Singular" evil gets "Priority" over all others...case in point...'Abortion"...try to understand WHY he says this.

individuals who lack sufficient expertise to discern it...even our own Supreme Court relies extensively on outside "Links" to reach their decisions...not just the Justices' individual points of view...is that not true?
Let's not make excuses for a failure to put forth our best effort at finding TRUTH...let's use all resources we can readily access in our dialogues...if it's good enough for our SCOTUS, it's good enough for the UHND Open Forum...

As a Catholic, one could oppose abortion as part of their individual faith, but recognize that legislators do not necessarily have a better vantage point than the pregnant female facing a difficult choice based upon economics, youth, rape, life threatening health issues, etc.
Adoption or becoming a parent is still a far better option. Moreover, 15 weeks strikes me as a reasonable line in the sand.
But, abortion is way down the list for me regarding the list of issues that should define a Catholic candidate. Much more interested in the candidate’s viewpoints regarding racial/social/economic justice, immigration, crime and punishment, protecting God’s Green earth, protecting the vulnerable and marginalized segment of the population, protecting and promoting democracy here and abroad, …. who understands that Jesus taught us to stand up for the least of us.
Abortion is an overrated political issue.

It is not any more religious than murder statutes are religious. Anti-abortion laws are as secular as murder statutes: Both are laws against homicides.
I grant your point, though. No person can claim to be in communion with the Catholic Church while also advocating for the homicide of little children.
Me being a catholic has zero to do with me agreeing with a woman’s rights.
Try not to conflate the two.

Perhaps it's best we not get into the weeds!

Really, though, PB is talking about fetus rights, not women's rights.
