Though Turkey, a NATO member, boasts a large military within NATO, if I were to choose between the Swede’s - Fin’s and Turkey // no contest -
Somehow Turkey comes across as a deceiving member of the organization. Too many ties to Putin and Russia.
Is Turkey doing Putin’s bidding on membership?

But I agree in hoping they won't derail this process.
Sounds like they're bargaining to have them removed or lessened. Chris probably has better Intel.
Remember it's Istanbul not Constantinople. Why did they change it?
Byzantium when he rebuilt it. It was basically a Greek settlement when Septimius Severus conquered it. Istanbul means "to the city" and it was the old center of the city's name. Constantinople was also called New Rome.
Great song.

And they've already stated what they want.

It would be a particular diabolic arrangement with Putin should Erdogan want to obtain the F-35 counter intelligence and stealth systems to pass on to the Russians. Erdogan has two bases operating and a third will soon be operational. So the question becomes is he anticipating defending against Israel or against Nato.
Erdogan is probably a Putin puppet. The US intelligence has to know this all ready.
I know that Turkey has a huge pile of American nukes based there. How does that come into play?
I'm sure US doesn't want to lose the location for nukes, but can they sneak them out of Turkey and then
cut them loose somehow? Time for regime change? Why don't we have Flinn negotiate that?
Who knows what they want. Could be lots of things. They’ll float a list and hope to get one or two.
what's there to negotiate? - It seems a simple transaction in the sense of, are they worthy of being members of NATO? - Are they able to follow
the rules of their contract with the alliance and will they be there when all is needed? It looks like all nations other than Turkey are
all in on their inclusion.
Comparing this to a bill in the senate really doesn't cover it, but no mind. If there isn't something known at this time, then it's a question
that will be answered in the near future.
