San Fran Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone has banned her because of her position on abortion. I'm a huge believer in WWJD in dealing with today's problems. I don't know. Maybe He is working through the Archbishop to help him come to this decision. It is reversible. She knows what she has to do.. I wonder if Old Joe is next?
seminarians to the SF Diocese facilities...instead, he sent them to some place in the Midwest because of Cordileone's extreme positions.
I'm not at all surprised that Cordileone would pull such a stunt...he clearly has no capacity for understanding the concept of "Prudential Judgement"...which Bishop McElroy eloquently outlined in the article I've posted a couple of times here.

above your pay grade, out of your jurisdiction, and none of your business...you get to set the table, you don't get to police it." (John Pavlovitz)...jibes with Pope Francis' view as well.
Try to have an original thought if you can. You dudes here, live by all these left wing links you guys provide with no original thought involved. When does life begin? When does life begin? When does life begin? Somehow, Catholics for Choice or Lefty Christians feel it's their obligation and duty to make up their own rules as they go along. Our ways are not His ways.
you would be doing yourself a favor educating yourself as to why you are in such a minority position...what is it that all those others "get" that you don't...I've tried to provide you with educated explantations of what you're missing...I've led you to "water"...it's your choice whether to drink or not.
WWJD is what I try to do every day, and I fail miserably every day. But, the path to Heaven is lined with sinners trying to figure out WWJD. Christians were at one time the minority opinion. The majority here on Earth means nothing to Heaven if it's not His command. You can't truthfully answer when life begins because if you did, the whole argument of abortion would be over. You're not as impressive as you think you are. You're trying and failing to debate someone who is working daily to figure out WWJD, not what would the majority do. In regards to Pelosi, that's the business of her, her religious leader, and Heaven above. If she thinks she can hedge her bets with Heaven, then so be it. It's her life.
I am curious: Do you personally believe the consecrated bread and wine are the actual Body and Blood of Christ?
political stance on Roe v Wade? This gets deeply into the notion of "Prudential Judgement" (see Bishop McElroy's explanation) and how a national politician, in a pluralistic nation should deal with this issue. Since over 80% of Americans...and Catholics...believe that abortion should be legal in some cases, it's vitally important to understand WHY an overwhelming majority in this country feel this way...and why a politician such as Speaker Pelosi could take the stance she has...so, once again, please respond to my repeated requests for a discussion on this.
While you're mulling that over, take a look at the attached PEW Research article on what Catholics believe wrt Communion...in your estimation, are the 37% of 'Weekly or more' Mass attendees "Bad" Catholics for not believing that the Eucharist is the Body and Blood of Christ?...FYI....regardless of what I believe, there is no way I'd ever jump to that conclusion...
