in ways you wouldn't believe.
Especially for any who feel that they have fallen away from the faith (though everyone is benefitted greatly). Just ask Mary to add you to her prayers of intercession. Jesus does listen to his mother's pleas. In fact, Christ's first miracle, the changing of the water to wine at the wedding feast at Cana, was done on the request of his mother even though He said that He was not yet planning to perform miracles. We should always offer prayers to The Holy Trinity, but our prayers are tainted by our earthly desires, and Mary offers to give her own intercession on our behalf even though she watched man torture and humiliate, and murder her son. God has honored her specially, and she is an incredible resource that is available simply if we just ask.
I heard it said by a wise person that when a sinner begins praying the rosary, one of two things happens fairly quickly. Either the person stops/decreases sinning or the person stops saying the rosary.
He makes an accusation against the Church...and links a Huff Post writer as a source.
He makes an accusation against the Church...and links a white supremacy group (cuz, you know, white supremacists love Catholics).
All to back up a strike piece against the Rosary. The piece is 100% deranged what-the-fuckery.
And the liberals here in the ND Open rush to the Atlantic's defense, and start calling Catholics (libertarian Catholics, mind you) Nazis. Truly amazing.
Or just blow it off as a fringe idea. Whichever.

I actually think it would be a good sign if our religion was more out of favor with the powers and principalities of today’s politics (on both sides). For the first 300 years our Church, the Way, was on the fringe of the accepted cultural norms and persecuted in small and large methods. You really had to want to live a new way and follow the crucified one. To be converted, transformed and in communion with each other. Then came Constantine and we have been more or less part of the power structure.
Let’s all pray the rosary and pray incessantly that we choose kindness and love over need to be right
