than if our women were to end the UConn streak?
I mean, we already ended UCLA's basketball streak, Oklahoma's football streak and North Carolina women's soccer streak!
And my apologies to the male chauvinists who dominate these ND forums... but this is touted as a Basketball Board.

Gena is really, really good.
Outstanding.
So is McGraw
Last time they played, Uconn had 4 players that almost played the whole game.
I would full court press Genos ass the whole game. Turn them over!
Yes, they will break some press and get some layups, however, u will also get them out of their element, make them nervous, and beat them at their own game!
Here
Comes
The
Lady Irish!!!!

at ND this year..Cant beat them at home, I cant imagine beating them on a neutral floor, or Storrs, good grief, for that matter..And this was the year targeted as the year to get them, after this forget it..
UConn is full of themselves right now... and their players are still relatively young.
even after 3 quarters in perhaps their worst game of the year. Our girls can beat them.
Granted, I havent seen as much of them as prior years, but frankly, I expected a better team, I guess that pre-season no 1 influenced me..They were too amped vs UCONN, but I was very disappointed in the Tennessee game, especially the last quarter..And in some wins, very unimpressive..I did see the recent Louisviile game, I believe the Cards came in no 12, and it was the best I saw the girls this yr..Hopefully they are peaking for the post season..
Turner is playing a lot better. If she ever had an outside game, the team would roll. The team needs Patberg to step up next year. She seems to be constantly under the weather and has had other ailments and injuries. Team plays a whole lot better when they run with the ball instead of a 1/2 court set.
