1. There are only two, perhaps three, decent finishers on the team: Durham, Carmody, and, possibly, Hubb. Gibbs, Pflueger, Goodwin struggle.
2. The team still doesn't appear to have standout perimeter shooters. Gibbs can be a 38-40% shooter from three, but that will only happen if Hubb handles the point and consistently gets penetration for kickouts and ball reversals. When Gibbs can step into his shot, he's good. Better from the arc than Demetrius Jackson or Tory Jackson, going back in time. The logical guy to step up is Laszewski, who was great in high school at this. Let's hope. But ND needs more than two. Goodwin has nice rotation on his shot but he's often up against more athletic opponents in conference play who are in his height range.
This talk of Brey being done with the class, after Dickinson's decision, as reported by Noie? I hope not. They need a wing. Whether it's Dubar (I see he's visiting Iowa St. this weekend), or whomever, they need a perimeter guy who can shoot.

this team you never heard of is ranked second in Division 2 and a favorite to win it all. Louisville beat them by the same margin as we did..10 points
Thanks for the info, but it does not make me feel any better about the Irish.
They complained about it. Of course, he seems to get results, like Knight.

Although I expect bin to commit to Michigan, I didn't see an announcement.
I would expect players at this age to improve, and Brey has a track record of having that happen.
