Seems like a great move for Crist. He has the offensive system where he doesn't have to be the focus of the offense and can rely on the running game that Wisconsin has established.
Things could get ugly if Crist is heading to a BCS game with Wisconsin while we fiddle our way to another 8-4 season next year. Maybe Crist is a total bust, maybe he wasn't given a chance this season (seriously, one half?), but we're going to see what he has next year.
I wish him the best of luck and hope he has a successful year.

Mrs. Lion and I are the authors of Michigan Breweries, and are big fans of Founders Brewing in particular. Drink Michigan beer!
Three Floyds isn't a Michigan brewery, by we try to swing by for a pint if our travels take us to Chicagoland and west. RateBeer.com ranked FFF number-one in the world for a while, and I highly recommend the brewery.
She also flies home every spring with the Kalamazoo bluegrass band Green Sky specifically for the opening of the Bell's beer garden.
For whatever reason I've never come away quite as impressed by Founders as everyone else. It seems like beer gurus generally regard it to be a shade superior to Bell's, but my palate likes Bell's better. My one beef with BeerAdvocate is that it skews so heavily to the stouts, double IPAs, etc. They tend to turn up their noses when it comes to great warm-weather beers like Bell's Oberon--my #1 summer beer by a mile--and Three Floyd's Gumball Head.
A newcomer to the micro market that I can't recommend enough is Sun King out of Indianapolis, particularly their Sunlight Cream Ale and Wee Mac.

He got his job taken away and never appeared to be pissed off enough to get it back.
went wrong. If you really want to reach, you can connect the dots on that to leadership but it's not accurate.
Dayne just needed to play better football.
for three years while JC was the QB, was never coached-up like other QBs, injured twice, and never bitched, complained or bad-mouthed anyone when he was benched for a 2* HS recruit. He organized a group of players to visit a local charity, and helped signal-in plays to TR. Crist tried to help the team even though he wasn't playing. IMO, Crist is a ND RKG and I wish him the best in life.

Crist not a leader? A leader doesn't bitch. He supports other teammates. He keeps recruiting classes together (which he did with the current senior class). Go F yourself.
Lance, not that I disagree it is a BS statement, but you must have a whole bunch of these tards on ignore if you think that qualifies as extreme BS around here these days.
The monkeys have been flinging poo like it's going outta style lately.
May he lead Wisconsin to a Big Ten title and BCS bowl victory.
Good luck Dayne!
I seem to remember another Dayne who had some success at Wisconsin.
He has a rocket arm, which at the very least would have given the Irish the threat of a vertical passing game, which they were completely without all year.
looked in some of these games - Stanford, BC, Pitt. he can't run and has no pocket mobility...this is a horrible combination. Also, he appears to lack any athletic strength which is why the ball is fumbled so easily. I thought BK should have taken Rees out of these games...you can almost tell right away that he is in a fog. Rees has either hit his ceiling on significant development or his development is so incremental and slow it will not make a difference.

With Crist as Stanley Jackson, Rees as Joe Germaine. I agree with Herbstreit’s comments on Rees, the best thing about Rees is he has no memory, which makes him an ideal backup QB in term of mentality to stand up for a fresh start if something goes wrong in first half.
But clearly, like 99% of coaches, Kelly is 1-QB system coach.
he couldn't make a sideline throw and when the pressure was on, he folded like a cheap tent. On top of that, he falls down without anyone touching him and tears a friggin knee. Yeah, we will miss him!
I would agree with you, we certainly did not see a lot of that this year.

Dude sits back there then fires a Nolan Ryan fastball at his first option.
which Crist also struggled with. You are spot on to critique his touch because he does put too much on some of them. But his accuracy looked pretty good Sat night even with the OL doing a shitty job of protecting him.
Hendrix might not be the final answer at QB, but IMO Hendrix > Rees > Crist, from what I've seen of each.
I'm not saying Hendrix doesn't need work and I realize it was just one half. But that's why I preface it with from what we've seen.
I also liked the way Hendrix bounced back from his pick and the way he jumped on that fumble to prevent the turnover (you know, how you're coached to from Pop Warner on up...Crist should take notes).
It was later and you had way too many drinks.
Dude was so off it was comedy.

Crist could not take the pressure of playing for a big-time (well, former big-time) program. It doesn't mean he is a bad kid, just not the right fit for ND. Maybe he will be a better fit at a smaller program. Go Hendrix!

Not knocking Crist but he just isn't a difference maker and I have a hard time believing that Wisconsin is going to kiss off the other qbs on the roster for a 2nd year in a row.
Russell Wilson made sense because none of injuries and inexperience with Wisc qbs this year. In 2012, I have a hard time believing that Crist will be so much better that the guys they have there.

I don't see the tweet, maybe he deleted it.
Assuming he can take a snap from under center...
Wisconsin should be very strong next season as well. They always have a great OL and running game that will help Crist look good.
