Given the recent trend of the program, we could be their Homecoming game.
We could have Vince Lombardi with Saban as DC and Bill Walsh as OC those years and have a hell of a time going navigating that schedule to a playoff run.

A very hard schedule, yes, but not insurmountable. The potential of 4 does not equal the likelihood of 4. In fact in two of the last three years, only 1 of the 4 presumptive 2018 top 10 teams made it. I'd say we should worry about 2018 when it gets here and the overwhelming odds are that if ND happens to end up 11-1 with that schedule they will be in the playoff. Of course, if they don't get better coaching, player talent and effort than in 2016 it is all a moot point.
