I remember the articles from his year before joining ND where he was with a trainer and making the grade to be at ND, dedicated to being the best he could be and now, alcohol has interfered with his life.
I hope much like Chris Mullin, he finds a way back to become the person and athlete he worked so very hard to be.
He's 27, has made $17M to date, owns a Super Bowl ring and now gets a chance to reset his priorities and start over.
Ruined? He hit the lottery.
I might add that like most of these geniuses, he will probably be broke within a few years.
