Link: Notre Dame's Day 3 Practice Video Reveals Poor Tackling Fundamentals
Having db's with 10yds of space and then asked to tackle another elite athlete is hard for anyone.
This is why SEC db's look so much more athletic when you play tight all game and you're allowed to attack freely with no thought of having to consider
leaving your zone or patch a grass to guard. Those same SEC db's get to the combine and run similar 40s than everyone else but why do they LOOOK
faster on tape. Top 15 DBs/S in this year NFL Combine in the 40 only one was from an SEC school. Marlon Humphrey ran 4.41
But They PLAY faster. They look aggressive in the run game because they're allowed to be.
And Nicco Fertitta proved last year he needed more time. He should be used exactly how Tyrann Mathieu was used at LSU.
Bout the same size and speed and aggressive mentality. But let see if the DC has that kind of guts to let a player be a player. Or will he be just another security guard.

Claypools ascent to super star status, that's what.

Stepherson and st brown made their dbs look foolish
By the way, the idea came from my brain so I'm biased I guess.
He gets forgotten a lot but he looked good in the limited action on film today. He made some acrobatic catches last summer too before redshirting. Still don't know if he is a RB or WR long term but if he makes plays like that in the open field he should get a long look at Z since none of the returning WRs did much to lock up that spot last year.
