No reasons given, but losing him really bites. That kid has a very nice combo of size and speed for a cornerback.

Every single time a kid decommits from Notre Dame, the ND posters come out stating the kid lacks maturity, is a bad kid, probably no grades, ND dodged a bullet, etc. Yet anytime a kid flips from another school to ND - anyone remember Wimbush flipping from Penn State, all we hear is what a great kid this recruit is, what a smart decision, this is a ND type kid, this is a kid who understands the 40 year decision. These are 17-18 year old teenagers who have family, friends, and college coaches in their ears right up until National Signing Day. Kids flip at ND, Ohio State, Alabama, USC, etc. When these kids flip to ND it is high fives and all is right in the world.
Kids have flipped from Notre Dame and flipped from other schools for years. It is part of college football. This is why I never get overly excited on a verbal commitment. I will wait to celebrate when the kid signs the letter of intent. Until then, all a verbal means is that your school is the current leader for his signature.
