As long as the players like the unis, I'm not going to rant. I've got real issues with scheduling that go beyond the Shamrock series, and I have in the past addressed them with ND leaders. But now is not the time to vent, as we have @105 gung-ho young men who are extremely talented, bleed gold and blue, and think they can win every game.
I think back to 2012, when we opened in Dublin with a Navy team that embarrassed us less than 2 years before, then played a trio of Big Ten rivals in a row, the first 2 in away venues that have always been tough. Then Miami at another neutral site and Stanford. That schedule was the toughest among the top 9 BCS teams, and our record went against the grain of virtually every prognosticator. Our QBs were unproven and our DBs were either new or suspect. But you couldn't tell our kids that.
The bitching about issues that our players have no control over can wait until season's end. I'm all in for this crew. And for starters in 2 weeks, I'd love to see all this smug, condescending talk I hear in Michigan like "Don Brown is special', "genius stacked defense", and "Do you know we have a special defense" put down for good.
I don't give two shits about SS uniforms
The program is NOT rudderless
I'm sticking to my belief that ND wins a natty THIS YEAR
And I don't give TWELVE shits about Michigan....just beat 'em like step children (no disrespect to lovely step children either)
