pull to be 'sneaky' and try to catch Stanford by surprise.
I'm not an anti-Wimbush guy, but if he starts Wimbush against Stanford instead of Book I'm literally going to lose my shit, unless Book either got beamed up by Yondu or stepped on a landmine and blew a leg off right before the game.
Just sayin..Kelly sucks ass.
in the Icon vid where we get a glimpse of the pre-game speech Kelly makes a comment about that game being the game where they show their identity. Could be "rah rah" but it sounded like Saturday was meant to be what Kelly really wants his offense to look like. I think he is set on Book but is being delicate with Wimbush because he knows he is one play away from being the starter again. To me, and this is my opinion, it seems like BW may be pretty fragile and BW doesn't want him to completely tank. This isn't a personal attack on BW. Just seems that he isn't ready for the stage mentally.

That's exactly why I'm paranoid. Right when you think he's finally learned, he pulls some stupid rabit trick out his ass that backfires...Kelly is 2-6 vs this team, perfect game for Kelly beta to emerge and overreach with some stupid shit, like Surprise! It's Air Wimbush!! And we're gonna throw it 80 times in the midst of a Sharknado..haha, tricked you!!!
I am hoping Book sticks as starter and Kelly has realized that BW isn't getting the job done in a way that allows the team to compete for a championship.
Zaire was on level with Kizer, so I throw all logic out the window when it comes to Kelly and QBs
6, an additional pick and looking terrible filling in for Rodgers in Week 1? He was so bad, the announcers said if Rodgers hadn't come back in the coaches told them there was no chance Kizer would see the field. That after being 0-16 last season and 4-8 his last season at ND.
Regardless of what this board thinks. I don't make this stuff up. It all actually happens. I'm the only one willing to admit it.
Kelly turning to Book arguing that Wimbush was unbeaten this year and all that bullshit. Well it took guts for him to make the move, he did and it jump started our offense. However he cannot close door on Wimbush who he may turn to for things like the wildcat or as a quick substitution inside the red zone. Most of you guys are so fickle, remember the so many of you that said Wimbush was going to be great because of his speed, mobility and arm strength. Well it seems only Oldirish and I emphasized that quarterbacking requires a different type of talent that is much more important than those tools(Not that it is not nice to have them too ala Deshawn Watson). A QB who knows how to play like a QB and gets the most out of his teammates.

could come at them with either QB so neither one would be a surprise. As long as BK doesn't think he's gonna outsmart
the Trees we should be ok. I also believe BK knows he has a special team right now. Just win it baby.
..so you're telling me we're completely fooked.
Statement....not a question.

.. even if it takes me into oblivion with you.
DUB BABY!

Wimbush has had one good half of football since the Miami game... that was the Michigan game......the team responded well to Book.Clemson and Alabama also made a change with their starting QB.Wimbush has not improved his decision making, passing accuracy and run/pass option management...

Wimbush's completion percentage increased to 55%. Other than that, I don't see him starting. Book showed too much to be yanked, but we shall see.
Wrong? Have you taken into account his overall performance since the Miami game? 55 percent completion rate and he is still throwing passes up for grabs...

I was responding to Domer from hell... you don't have to try and insult people...go find someone else with that nonsense...
Do you even read before you reply?? ..because your initial responses make no damn sense at all.
Chris my response to what is said does not have to match up....stop trying to determine what makes sense...I respect you and your love for Notre Dame football..we will be cheering for Book to lead the team to a win in what looks like the biggest game for Book...I agree with you that Kelly has limitations..

Yes 49.5 to 55....1 td pass 4 interceptions........the one td pass to Finke against Michigan was a jump ball....
"Wimbush has not improved his decision making, passing accuracy and run/pass option management..."
I simply pointed out an error in your statement. He has improved his accuracy to 55%. Not great, but an improvement from 2017.
I agree with you that he has improved his passing percentage..I was wrong... For his career in 15 games he has thrown 17 touchdowns and 10 interceptions....He has had 4 years on the team and after the so called extra work and all the other spin,it has not improved the offense...I saw 2 other interceptions that were dropped this year... Time to move on from Wimbush being a QB... McGlinchey, Nelson and Adams could cover for his short comings...
that we need to move on.
Kid has worked and played hard... Just has not improved enough to get more players involved... Maybe it would have been different if he had Dex in the backfield, but he still is short arming passes..
