Ollison. This should be a demolition.
Only a total failure by Book in the long passing game, several lazy flanker screens jumped by Pitt DBs, and sloppy fumbles can beat us. I absolutely do not expect that.
Anything less than a 21 point win is an embarrassment.

There are 7 players from PA on the team and 4 from Pittsburgh. The great state of PA has been very, very good to ND. You might remember a guy named Montana.
I have been to 48 of the 50 Beautiful United States and they all have great areas and great people. They all had not so nice areas and not so nice people.
Please don’t say or argue that San Diego is flawless. I lived there off and on for 22 years of my Navy career. It’s a great place. Leave it at that.
GO IRISH!

Are the people using books as toilet paper? Do they bang on pots and pans for music? Do they do cave paintings and grunt when they talk to each other? Anyone who says that cities have no culture is a bilge sodden poser..,

I agree that a lot of the Pittsburgh area falls under the category of "shithole," but there are many great parts of the city that are certainly worth seeing, and yes, in which one can reside as well.
There are plenty of fun things to do in that city. Give than most ND fans enjoy their beer, the brewery tour is something I strongly encourage anyone in the area to try. You won't be disappointed.

I do not expect ND to be particularly sharp this weekend.
I still anticipate an ND victory, but it would not surprise me at all if they are a bit sloppy and/or physically exhausted from lack of sleep or mentally exhausted from preparing for and taking exams.
We are the #5 team in the country...and you're posting this bullshit?
But it really is the weirdest thing. Go back and look at the week before Fall Break dating back many years (including the Holtz era). Somehow, we just don't show up anywhere near our best during this specific week.
I can't say with certainty that it's due to midterm exams, the pending week off causing the team to dial back their focus, etc. I have no idea. But we really do have a letdown on this week most seasons, with one of the most famous being Air Force 1996.
We have to destroy every opponent

the offense has clicked and Book has been terrific....but as we hopefully have learned from the past, that can change in a hurry. Pitt is a grind it out running team mixed with short, quick throws to negate a pass rush and move the chains. Turnovers are the Achilles heel of every team, and no one knows where the pointed ball will bounce. Injuries to Book, Williams, Drue, Coney, and other key players can take a lot of energy out of a team. Through in some mental fatigue to boot as pointed out above, and any team can be had. Pitt is not Wake Forest and a lot better than Ball State. Assuming a wipe out, especially early, is simply not smart. Murphy's law will bit any football team from time to time....just play the game hard and smart and hang onto the ball.
Penn State did it, so did UCF.
If the Irish want to be a Final Four fish, they will follow suit.
Further justification for a one loss Georgia or Alabama getting in before us
You pound shit teams like Pitt into the ground
Or you dont fucking deserve to be in the CFP
