I spent some time going through scores, stats, opponents, and videos of LSU and ND. Which defense do you think is better? They seem pretty comparable.
To look reasonably respectable against the Tide you need a very sophisticated, very mobile and very accurate passing attack. Running on them is just something to do infrequently to slow down the rush. I'm not sure anyone has this combo this year.
in press coverage. The one area that really concerns me is the inside trap. Navy exposed some weakness on the interior,
as did NW. ND will see more of that as the year concludes. I think the defense has been built to get after the QB, which is great except when the ball is run right up the gut.

I think we could keep them around 25, but there is a scenario they get 45. I still think the defense keeps ND in it and its a competitive game.
