legitimately the only things that matter to an extent.
They spent about ten continuous minutes emphasizing the CFP criterion of head-to-head winner. They said that if the committee picks a one-loss Michigan over a one-loss Notre Dame, that they will have no future integrity because they will have contravened one of their key selection criteria.
Unfortunately, they totally stopped calling the game during their presentation, while State was moving down the field toward the Irish end zone. In that regard, they were maddening. But you all heard that.
their most recent Top 25 has Michigan at #3 ahead of ND. The criteria is technically is rank order but many members of the media are going along with the crazy notion that Michigan is better. Only way there should even be a conversation is if we lose a game.
They keep talking about conference championships. Correct me if I'm wrong but Bama wasn't even in the SEC championship game last year.

pass has only one loss.

if michigan wins out, we'll have head to head wins over BOTH teams playing in the B1G Championship...in a situation like that, that conference should take a back seat to us.

Only David Pollack was like guys ND won head to head. Why do we even play the games if that doesn't matter. All the others were saying all the BS, "well Michigan looks better now".

and putting the head to head in the oh that doesn't really matter deal. Plus, Alabama got in without going to their conf championship game and OSU go in over PSU and I think PSU won the B10 and beat OSU head to head. So the committee apparently doesn't really care that much for it. They've done it before.
