and then can transfer for a fifth year without sitting out. Meaning they have nothing to gain by transferring now since they would need to sit out a year.
One guy to keep an eye on is Devin Studstill who enrolled early and I believe is on track to graduate in May. He could potentially transfer without sitting out like CJ Sanders did this year. He's the only guy in that situation.
And inappropriate to speculate. There seems to always be at least 1 or 2 injury retirements and 1 or 2 folks that don't make the grades. Others transfer for more PT.
ND is likely to get there, but it will be close.
Next 5: Finke, Crawford, Bilal, Ruhland, Boykin
These guys have all reached their ceilings and more importantly have their degrees. ND needs to maximize upside, so I hope all the undergrads pass their physicals, get straight A's, and keep their noses clean.
I do think that Boykin could go pro...as you indicate he has likely reached his ceiling and is unlikely to improve his stock by coming back. The others all could.
