when he pulled off a 40 yd pass run play with Kizer to set up the winning tD pass to Fuller Thought he was headed for greatness...Hoepfully he keeps getting better in NFL
From 2002-2004, he was basically being wasted, and never got a chance to put it all together, even getting called "Stonehands Stovall." In 2005, he finally had a much better opportunity, and put together one of the finest seasons as a WR in ND history.
I do wish that Mack could have stayed for another season, but at this stage, if he got a decent draft grade, he may as well take it, since TE's generally don't command big money.
If he can kick some serious butt at the NFL Combine, I think being a 2nd day draft choice is within the realm of possibility.
We'll be fine in 2019 with Kmet and Wright ready to go, and Takacs and Tremble waiting in the wings.
