Don't know how good UL is. They sucked last year. But new coach and all . . . maybe they are better than anyone thought. Others have mentioned that UL made some mistakes that killed drives, which is true. Statistically, ND's D was pretty good after a bad start. What that means? We'll see. Everyone had some concern that Lea wouldn't be able to seamlessly fill the middle of the D. I can't say that concern was eased in the first game. The DTs didn't look great, the LBs were sloppy throughout. The way the schedule breaks, there is a real opportunity for improvement with the open week and then New Mex before UGA. But I believe they need a LOT of improvement to hold up against UGA.
