Of all the criticisms of Kelly, and many are valid, this one is the stupidest. Remarkably stupid.

I’m not a Kelly apologist. That criticism just happens to be absolutely idiotic.
You should just shut up and go away. Really. There is a thing called "focus" that has to be maintained for everyone on the sideline.

He’s sticking up for his team. You got nothing else to complain about?

. . . game hasn’t gotten tough yards frequently. All valid criticisms. But “he shows too much emotion sometimes” and “his face gets purple” are utterly stupid criticisms. Sorry, but they are. I’d much rather have a coach with emotion and fire as opposed to a robotic one. I like a guy like Lou — yell, grab your player and get in his face. Hell, put a ref in a headlock.
Keep bitching. That’s all you do.

You understand that a coach getting worked up doesn’t equal complacency . . . right? Yes, complain about failures and demand results. By all means. But also complaining purple face is just dumb. All criticisms are not equal. And complaining about stupid shit obscures the legit stuff.
