Hopefully the coach who follows him can.
On to Virginia.

over last night are full of shit. To have won that would have been a monumental upset. UGA was clearly a more talented team top to bottom, playing at home at night in front of REAL fans. Most, including me, didn’t expect a competitive game. Check your prediction thread. Everything nad I mean everything would have needed to go right for us to win. That rarely happens.
I’ll wait for the rest of the season. If Kelly and/or the team shits the bed, I won’t excuse it. Last night though isn’t a reason to shit on him or the team.
big game from Lou. His players really believed in him and played for him. Not sure what Kelly and crew translate to the team...

take ND further,,,With ND's academic standards, and code of disciplinary conduct, combined with the cesspool that intercollegiate athletics are today, it is entirely possible, that what Kelly has accomplished is the peak for the school..He hAS HAD TWO undefeated seasons in 7 seasons, not too many coaches can accomplish that at a school like ND...

"Good but nowhere near great" is the classification he obviously falls under
Any way you slice it, a win in Georgia last night would have been greatness. That’s not arguable. We weren’t in the game with a chance to win because Georgia played poorly. They played really damn well.
Winning would cast doubt on UGA'S legitimacy and made ND'S stock rise a little, but that would only have lasted until their next loss later in the season.
Kelly has never threatened to be great in 10 years.

need the players to win
Need a decent coach who can attract them

And the current Oline. Can’t run the ball and QB can’t throw downfield. Defense stacks the box. Not good for this offense.
Book is like Kelly, good, but not a difference maker.
