So is Quinn the incompetent coach here, or was Long giving Quinn something that didn't work well with the group? I have no idea.
What I did like is that the coaches are going to be much more collaborative.
was just Quinn.
He’s a GVSU pal of Kelly.
He has no business coaching a formerly excellent OL line unit.

From the outside looking in, it sure does look as if Quinn can't get these guys to perform.
But as I speculated, maybe Long's scheme didn't mesh with the talent somehow, or Quinn's coaching style. Since I'm not an O-line expert, it would be nice if we heard some honest feedback from the players on Hiestand vs. Quinn's abilities. Short of that, we're only guessing.
good thing you are not in congress!
To be friction be the Long and coaches and possibly some players.
Junior, that is, who has had a decent run as Lane Kiffin's OC at Florida Atlantic

Either Kelly has decided on Rees and he is just blowing smoke about doing a thorough search after the Bowl game, or he has decided Rees isn’t ready and really will go hunting after the bowl.
