and just for laughs the last first round draft pick at QB was Brady Quinn in 07. The closest Brian Kelly has come to producing a first round QB draft pick was DeShone Kizer in the 2nd round of 2017. Meanwhile since 2010 schools like Duke, Baylor, Central Florida, Louisville (twice), Wyoming, Cal, Memphis, North Dakota State and now Utah State have all produced 1st round QBs.
Let that sink in for a minute...
If ND was pulling in recruiting classes of Utah State or TCU you’d be B****** on here everyday. TCU has finished outside the Top 25 rankings in 5 of the last 8 seasons and had 2 top 25 recruiting classes, highest being 21, during the same time frame. Let that also sink in. Using the draft of one season as the results of the program. Get outta here. Go watch Rugby or something, I’m sure you are as much of an expert there as you are with football.

remarkable job in having two undefeated seasons in the last 7 years. Our recruiting does appear to be picking up and we have a fair amount of players that do eventually get drafted and have had very solid careers. We do have three linemen that are considered the elite in the pros and one other on the edge of that. We have had a couple of receivers experience success and one safety who became a great player under Kelly after playing in a very average way his first three years.

recruits like 3 star Jordan Love, whose only other offer was Utah State.

great job of coaching up, and we are missing on 2/3rds.
How has ND done in that time? A better measure of program quality is overall draft and NFL team presence. Lotta Kelly players in that group, I am pretty sure.
