Imho Book is a better scrambler but maybe not necessarily a better runner... tho could be wrong.

better for Book and interceptions, better for Book. When you add in what Book can do with his feet it doesn't really seem to look all that close.
Hope I am wrong.
That said, not surprising. Driskell has never cared for Book since he wasn't in on him as a recruit. I've listened to him and read his stuff (used to be at BGI) long enough to learn how this works. He evaluates all the recruits and the guys he likes best as recruits he talks up their entire career, even when they've done nothing (eg Houston Griffith) and guys that he viewed as limited he always talks down (eg Book).
The support that was there was heavily twisted toward Coan though the pieces that matter, Yards, TDs, INTs, and Wins mostly favored Book. There was a lot of opinion and favoritism written in the article.
You are right about the rushing. That was big for Book and considering football at all levels hinges on a mobile QB these days that’s a pretty big part of the game to completely ignore.

Kid looks and plays the part...hope BK evolves this off-season and figures that out.
Will BK/Rees put all this speed on the field at the same time? Is there a walk-on WR lurking that will get special attention and take away playing time from our speed guys?
It happens. Not sure why people are so quick to assign motives. Lenzy struggled w it’s a hammy. When he got pt And re-injured it, people were quick to say “he shouldn’t have been on the field.” People really like to bitch. Austin had disciplinary issues and injuries. It happens. No reflection on coaching. Jordan Johnson played in a very unsophisticated hs offense and didn’t have many receptions. No surprise he needed time to adapt to college. Watts is more mysterious, but I can’t say it was reluctance to play frosh — we saw lots of Tyree, Mayer, and others. Maybe he needed more time to develop. People want to make sweeping generalized conclusions based on neutral info. It’s idiotic, but “fans” do it. I guess we just move past it. Looking forward to some of the young guys stepping up next year.
