Apparently no one here watched it.

So no
Coan looked pretty decent too. My guess is Buchner is #2 come September.
The defense looks very good as well. I thought Spindler and Fisher looked like they can play. I think Spindler will start at Guard. Davis, Keyes and Styles impressed me.
Buchner had some flashes to work with but looked a bit raw and inconsistent.
Powlus needs to give his kid brother his uniform back and find one that fits.
Looks like Buchner had a good stat line. He seems quick and fluid as a runner. The couple of throws featured in the highlights were tough to really see well. But he completed a couple of longer passes to Lenzy. So that's good.
thing and didn't come away feeling like we had a for sure #1.
He was the qb who looked good. Coan wasn't very good and Pyne was worse
at the same time, I don't think he looked significantly better than the other two. Objectively, no one looked like the winner to me. I saw some for sure sparks with Buchner, but not enough to say you bet the season on a kid that hasn't played a down of football that counts in 18 months soon to be 24 months before he will. That's a lot to ask.
He didn't look that much superior to bet the farm on him.
He did appear to have much more raw upside.
The QB question was not settled today. Still have to think Coan has the inside track, but it's no given.
Defense ruled, obviously. Not surprising given we are breaking in new QBs and a new O-line.
My biggest takeaway was that we are loaded on the defensive line, with tremendous depth. The LBs looked solid as well.

The only thing Pyne was "consistent" at was throwing incompletions. Coan was 56% with an INT and negative rushing yards. Buchner was 67%, no INTs, the ONLY 2 TDs in the game and actually took hits. Does that mean he is the best of the three right now and will be the starter? Absolutely not. But with only today to go on, he was the best. And we have no idea what has REALLY been going on in practice.
Also, Kiser looked very good.

Oh and Rocco dragging the RB into the end zone.
I was intrigued when we recruited him. Looks like he could be a good one.
Agree on Ajavon. He was laying the wood for sure.

He was the only QB of the three without a red shirt. All three had some good throws and some awful ones. To be expected.
